Sheesh. I am so crazy busy mothering, working full time, managing a hockey team, cleaning, cooking and just plain living that I have a wicked tally pile of CD’s here just waiting for me to open them and let the kids listen to them in their few minutes of dance party time! As I do so, I plan to link to the CD below and give a quick 2 bits about it. This is the only way I’ll get to writing about them in this calendar year!

Beethoven’s Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics: I love love love this CD! It’s really funny and introduced my kids to a new genre of music. Love!

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo: Spelunk the Funk DVD: I left the room while my kids were watching this, but they had a blast! They love the hip hoppin’ sound and the professional music videos are the first they’ve ever been allowed to watch. (No skank!)

My Name is Handel (Maestro Classics): A super addition to the collection for fine music lovers wanting to introduce their children or grandchildren to classical composers and nourish a love of music. Delightful!

Colonel Purple Turtle by Rocknoceros: Just click over and take a look at the cover to see how awesome this CD is! The turtle is the star – he introduces us to his animal friends and teaches us how to be a friend, take care of the planet and have fun the whole time. The songs lovely and easy to learn…your kids will be singing along in no time!

I Am Happy with Sukey Molloy: Perfect for the youngest of listeners, this was a winner with our 2 year old visitors last week. Not oficially to be released until April 2012.

La Bella Stella (Celebrate Earth Music Series): Schduled to be released on 3/27/12, this CD is fun, folky and calm. Perfect for play time and background music.

Mo Philips: Monster Suit: This CD will be released on 4/10. It’s perfect for the 3-5 crowd. The tunes are fun, and the lyrics are crazy enough that my kids think they are freaking hilarious!
