Can You See What I See? Toyland Express
I was excited to see an amazing new search-and-find adventure from the creative mind of renowned photographer and author Walter Wick released this season. Amazing photographs accompany a search-and-find story by Walter Wick, the creator of award-winning picture books, the author and photographer of the New York Times bestselling Can You See What I See? series, and the photographer of the bestselling I Spy series.
Can You See What I See? Toyland Express, the eighth title in this series, follows the life of a toy train from the workshop to the attic, only to be rescued at a yard sale and brought to life once again in a new home. As readers search for more than 250 hidden objects, they will also notice how the train takes on various transformations along its journey. I didn’t even notice that part until my (admittedly brilliant) children pointed it out to me.
Every book we’ve read in the I Spy & Can You See What I See? series has been of amazing quality (and we have ready many!) and this one doesn’t dissapoint. It’s beautiful from cover to cover, and perhaps even more entertaining than some others thanks to the storyline of the train. What kid doesn’t love trains?
It sells for $11 on Amazon.ca, $9 on Amazon.com and $14 in the Scholastic store.
