7th Gen Does It Again
Y’all know I love me some 7th Gen. Seventh Generation is aiming to reach their goal of giving away up to 240,000 diapers to 40 shelters in Nova Scotia, Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. This means a donation of up to $160,000 in diaper value to a charitable cause that rarely sees corporate assistance.
Seventh Generation, via Mom Central, gave me some diapers to give away. I donate 90% of my review samples to local charities so they’re used to seeing me walk in with boxes full of goodies every couple of months, but diapers is something that shelters are always in need of. I am acquainted with some people who work with the local food bank, the Angel Tree and one of the shelters. I facebooked a few of them to see where the need for diapers in the size I had was greatest. I was thrilled to be able to walk in to the shelter and give something that I knew would be used and very much appreciated.
If you buy Seventh Generation diapers in the month of October, they will donate a package to a shelter on your behalf for every package you buy! Read more here.
It feels great to spend my hard earned money on products from such an awesome company. The 7th Gen shelf will continue to be my first stop for all of my cleaning & laundry products.
I am participating in the Seventh Generation program by Mom Central Canada. I received compensation as a thank you for my participation. The opinions on this blog are my own.
