The Mama Doni Band’s new CD Shabbat Shaboom delivers a fun, schmaltzy, toe-tapping good time for all. It’s a great Challah-Day celebration!

The CD focuses on Jewish shabbat themes, and is sure to entertain a broad audience with its universal song topics, like Mishpocha which is about a wonderful and quirky extended family. Who can’t relate to that?!

The award winning Mama Doni Band has a huge following and this CD is sure to be another of her hits. The songs are a fun mix of rock, pop, disco, bluegrass (or “Jewgrass” as Mama Doni calls it), klezmer, and tango. They are filled with zany and silly lyrics in songs such as A Grape Juice Break Dance, Synagoguersize, and Chicken A La Tango. The CD is also sprinkled with a few beautiful moments in songs like The Friday Night Blessings.
