SLAPlets Are a Blast From the Past
I’m tired of silly bands for so many more reasons than the fact that they’re always in my washing machine, so I was super excited to see the return of the slap bracelets of the 80′s with SLAPlets. They’re the same, but better. Covered with silicone, they’re much softer and gentler than they used to be. My kids each received one to review (purple and blue) and they love them. My daughter loves it as an accessory; my son loves that he can slap people’s arms and not get in trouble. Each one came with three SLAPlinx on it – small silicone loops that slip easily on and off. I could see these being used as rewards – earn 10 linx and get 15 minutes of computer time! My kids just lost them within 3 hours of opening the package. Welcome to my world. The bracelets still look like new though, and are more fun than you’d think. Even for me.
“Made of 100% hypo-allergenic silicone, SLAPlets and SLAPlinx are customizable, tradeable fashion that will redefine friendship bracelets. There are currently 6 fun colors available with six more on the way. Each SLAPlet comes with three SLAPlinx and is $5.99.”
