‘Tis the season to get your papers organized. I’ve never had very complicated taxes, and I’m broke, so there’s not much to file in that regard and a regular file folder will do. Just this week, though, I was sent the SMEAD tax organizer and played around with getting a few things organized in there. Though I don’t have much, it certainly made it easier to visualize using this sectioned folder, and with only six sections it’s not overwhelming at all.

SMEAD also sent me the SMEAD monthly organizer, and having it to stash all of my receipts in has been excellent for my budget. Just knowing I have to file the receipt when I get home makes me think a little harder before buying, and going through the receipts each month (okay, every few months, which make the file folder all the more valuable) gives me a great overview of what we’re spending and where we’re spending it.

I spend pretty much every waking hour of every day with children, mine or those of others’, and I’ve yet to meet a kid who doesn’t love silly bands.
