3D Movies, Pint-Sized
Three dimensional movies are way cool, but the glasses that the theatres hand out are, um, questionable. RealD, a leading global licensor of stereoscopic (three-dimensional), or 3D, technologies, sent my children some ReadD kid-size 3D glasses of their very own with which to watch Toy Story 3.
They’re designed to fit kids 8 & under, and all theatres showing the 3D version of Toy Story 3 have received shipments of these little guys so be sure to ask for them. Bonus: they’re new so you don’t have to worry about the questionable cleaning methods of the recycled ones! (Tip: keep them and clean them yourself for re-use.) They’re made to the same high quality standards as the adult RealD 3D glasses for a bright & immersive 3D experience.
Win it! Want your kids to have their own sanitary, child-sized pair of realD 3D glasses? FIVE randomly selected commenters will each win TWO pairs! Comment on this post before noon mst on August 4 to be entered.

What a great idea. My son wears glasses already so wearing the adult size glasses over his little glasses is a lot of weight on his little face.

awesome, we got a 3d movie at christmas once but the glasses were so big the kids didn’t get a kick out of it as much as the adults did

Oooh, this sounds amazing. We were at Kennedy Space Centre in January and went to a 3D movie. I had to hold the glasses up to my 3 year old’s eyes for the whole movie. Not fun. I wish I’d have had these.

These sound really cool for the boys. We saw one 3D movie and we sat to close. (never been to one before). Lesson learned. At least here we can pick our own spot to watch a 3D show.

These would be so awesome. I don’t think my kids have ever sat through an entire 3D movie with those huge glasses the theatre’s provide. Actually I don’t think they’ve ever gotten through the opening credits. It’s the main reason we currently don’t go to 3D movies. These would be great to try out!

My 4 year-old loves 3D movies and loves wearing sunglasses, but hates wearing the theater 3D glasses (probably because they are too big). Hopefully we can sit through more of the movie before we have to remind him to put his glasses back on!

It’s about time they had something for kids……there are more and more 3D movies coming out, so my kids don’t have to miss out anymore! One size fits all barely fits my head…..LOL!
