The Seattle-based trio of schoolteachers known as Recess Monkey has recently released their first DVD as a companion to their newest CD, ‘Field Trip.’ The ‘Field Trip‘ CD happens to be my kids’ current fave in the van (and one of mine, too, which is why it has stayed in there for a few months), so they were thrilled to receive a copy of the DVD.

It features several music videos based on songs from ‘Field Trip,’ live concert footage and a “wild and wacky array of segments” that are sure to entertain children of all ages. My 18 month old, my three year old and a visiting ten year old all danced and sang along and thoroughly enjoyed it…(and so did I, but shhhhhh!)

These guys teach preschool through grade two so they TOTALLY know who they’re catering to with their music – and it shows.
