Smelly Washer
Do you have a front loading washer? Why is it that they start to smell when left closed up more than a top loader does? Frankly, it’s a little gross. A stinky washing machine does not make the unpleasant task of laundry any nicer. You may not have noticed it yet, but go away for a few weeks and forget to leave the washer door ajar and you’ll soon know what I’m talking about.

I’ve got a top loading washer that is stinky and want to find something to help. I’ll probably start with Borax, then perhaps Oxiclean, and then this stuff, since it’s the hardest to purchase (and some have speculated that it might be made of the same things anyway).

While at the site I learned-The main cause of front load or top load stink is overuse of detergents because the user is following directions for amount used. I’m guilty of using way more liquid than I should. jelly15301@gmail.com

This sounds like exactly what we need here in Atlanta. With the heat and humidity of the summer, this smell gets intolerable even in our air conditioned laundry room.
