It’s a good thing someone can think coherently around here.
As a mom of two young kids, I am well aware of the struggles parents face when out and about. When my kids reluctantly get in our double stroller, I struggle with places to put anything we purchase or need to pack along with us once the tiny basket is full. My new solution is the Mighty Buggy Hook from Think King which attaches easily and sturdily with strong velcro and features a strong and lightweight aluminum hook that won’t break, even when you hang as many heavy bags as you can fit on there and then your three year old hangs from them. Trust me on that one. It fits more bags than you’d think because the hook is a deep U shape, and because there’s no clip like the standard carabiner, they’re easy to get off with one hand when you need them. They’re nice and short so the bags are close to stroller and would have to be awfully long before they’d drag or get in the way.
Even more than on my stroller, I love my buggy hooks for grocery shopping. I have two kids that need to be contained, so they take up both the seat and the basket of the cart. There are only so many things you can tuck around them before they start to complain, so we were all thrilled when we discovered that my Buggy Hooks were a perfect fit for the sides of the cart and each easily hold a couple of large full bags of groceries. Thank you, King, for saving me an hour of listening to two children whining from under the vegetables each week.
Buggy Hooks come 2 in a pack and sell for $14.99 from the Think King site.
(We reviewed the other product from Think King, the amazing Buggy Cup here.)
Win it! We’re giving away a two pack of Buggy Hooks to one reader. To enter, leave a comment on this post before noon mst on July 22, 2009.

I just hope my little one is “heavy” enough to keep the stroller from tipping (I tend to buy quite a lot)! These look like a great idea!

Just thought I’d give this product and extra shout out. I have the hooks and the velcro cup holder for my BOB Duallie Revolution and LOVE them!!! I use them for so many different things…very handy. Ha ha…handy. Like as if I had three extra hands. I crack myself up.

Wow, that’s great! We have a tandem stroller and the kids are definitely easy enough to counter balance the weight.

Interesting. I definitely would like to try it as our stroller basket isn’t very big.
July 16th, 2009 at 8:22 am
I like to walk to the store with my daughter, and I can never fit the bags into the skimpy stroller basket. This would be great!
July 16th, 2009 at 10:50 am
I would also like to give these a try. I have a 2 year-old, a 3 year-old and am expecting twins in September! Not only do I not have enough hands to carry bags, I don’t have enough hands for my kiddos!
I agree, too, that no stroller basket is ever big enough for the stuff we have. I hate when my purse gets shoved to the front and I need to get something out of it and have to take everything out. So annoying!

July 20th, 2009 at 7:21 am
These would be great because I’m having twins. All the twins strollers just have room for babies and nothing else. This would be great to add some storage space because my hands are going to be full enough!
July 20th, 2009 at 5:57 pm
I am having twins next month, so these would be great!
July 20th, 2009 at 7:12 pm
Awesome idea! Especially when you have a bar type handle that you can’t fit any packages on! I usually fill the basket up with my purse and/or diaper bag and have to end up tying the bags on to the stroller!
July 20th, 2009 at 8:56 pm
This looks like a great idea!
July 20th, 2009 at 9:09 pm

Clever idea. I would imagine it’s so much easier to find what you’re looking for rather than digging in the bottom basket for stuff.
