My Kid’s Got Street Cred
And he got it from Appaman.
We know you’re always looking for great duds for your littles that you can’t find at that horrendous place that rhymes with Mall Fart, and we won’t let you down.
Appaman is ‘inspired by, and named after, the childhood companion of founder and designer Harald Husum. While growing up in Norway, Husum befriended a corduroy ape named Appaman. Together they traveled the fields and fjords of their native land, sharing many fantastic adventures. Appaman relects the whimsical spirit of those youthful times and celebrates the unbreakable bond between a boy and his ape.’
The spring/summer ’09 collection is hip & whimsical. The boys line is freaking adorable. Check out that track suit over there. How cute (but not one bit “cutesie”) is that? My son sports the monkey tee in a gorgeous sage-y green and and it’s pretty awesome. We dig the simple ape design and he digs the thick, soft cotton. It’s thicker than any other tee in his wardrobe and feels blankety soft even after washing.
Like many good things, it’s only available for a limited time so pick up what you want now before the fall/winter collection makes it’s debut.
