Music Week: Yummy English Snack
Yummy English Snack‘s “Cool Songs Collection & Times Table Fun” is a completely nontraditional set written by teacher William Avery. Inspired by his years teaching ESL in Taiwan, William wrote catchy learning poems and then set them to music. He makes learning delicious enough that my two year old sings his multiplication tables though he obviously has no idea what multiplication is. Listen to song samples here and buy it at CD Baby.

I have heard that you can teach kids early thur music.
We have been trying & it seems to work well.
We have a few lil smarty pants running around.
They do not know the “times” tables yet!
This would be an awesome tool/fun cd to increase their knowledge base.
I try to make up songs but I don’t have a good singing voice……..so it kinda turns them off…lol!
