The Writing’s On The (Magnetic) Wall
I’ve got to tell you about this cool new preschooler product developed by Canadian 2FishKids and available from Stork Baby Boutique.
I have a young preschooler (Oh my God – did I just say I have a preschooler?) who is obsessed with what we’re doing each day and never forgets an appointment. I have tried to use my calendar with him and I’ve tried one with little round magnets & no writing space that just didn’t work.
This magnetic weekly calendar is PERFECT for us! It’s well organized, colourful and personalized to his incredibly active week. It teaches about the days of the week, seasons, weather and more. He can now simply look at the calendar to anticipate what’s coming up later this week and it’s greatly reduced the occurrence of “What’s tomorrow, Mommy?”
The fully magnetic calendar measures 13 1/8” x 8 1/8” and comes with 58 activity, season and weather magnets, a dry erase marker and a storage bag. Because of the smallish magnets, it’s recommended for ages 3+. This indispensable preschool tool retails for just $19.99.
Save 10% at Stork Baby Boutique with the code OP1008.

I like the chalk placemats. Could be used at home to draw on while dinner’s being prepared or eating out to keep the little ones occupied while waiting for the food. The giveaway calendars are a really great idea for letting the little ones help keep track of what’s going tohappen when.

This is a super cool idea. From their other stuff I was really drawn to the personalized blankets too- I think it’s how they use bold basic colors, and the art flash cards (wish there were more in each box though). I also like the idea of the personalized tunes- we do that anyway and it would be nice not to have to sing over the original
Plus the songs are some nice classic ones. So good ideas all around. I wanted to thank you too for your finds on this site- it’s led me to some really clear thinking about what kind of stuff I want to have for our kids (not just a bunch of generic plastic stuff) and given me some super ideas for christmas presents for all the kids in my life. My favorite overall is the Trunki which I saw from your little jet set review. I’ll be getting that for my son’s bday. Thanks

My hubby is a huge fan of Western shirts. Noah would be so cute in the Lil Duke Danny shirt to be like his daddy. I am also a fan of the diaper organizer bags, since I can NEVER find things in my bag without dumping half the contents out.
