It’s with great sadness and a broken heart that I must inform you of the unexpected passing of my dad this morning while he was away on vacation with my mom.
He was the first man to love me and the first man I ever loved. I can count on my fingers & toes the number of days I didn’t talk to him and my mom in my 32 years of life. He was the kindest & most generous father, grandfather and friend to all he met and we will forever miss him to the core of our beings.
I have a few posts pre-scheduled but once they’re up there will not be more until I am able to get back into the swing of things.
If you’re waiting for your review, I’m sorry. You will be waiting a little bit longer.
If you come only for the contests, please check back daily.
No matter why you came to T.O.P. today, please go give your dad a hug or call him and tell him that you love him. If you’re a parent or grandparent, snuggle your kids today when you should be doing chores.
Spend a little extra time with those you love today, because you never know when life will end. Make memories, because you can’t get the moments back.

I’m so sorry to hear about you dad. I wish I could go hug mine, but I lost him over two years ago, so I’ll go hug my husband instead….

I’m so sorry for your loss. I remember how heartbroken I was when my dad passed and that horrible last conversation with him (His meds made him angry).

I’m so very sorry to hear about your dad passing away. My heart goes out to you, and I’ll keep you and your family in my prayers. I hope that the extreme sadness that I know you’re feeling right now passes into a less painful form very soon. I don’t know if it will help or not, but maybe putting together a scrapbook with pictures of your dad where you also journal your feelings about him and your relationship would help the grieving process. The bonus being that you also have a wonderful keepsake for you and your family when you’re done. Again, I’m so very sorry for your loss.
