A Ruffle On Your Butt Puts A Jump In Your Step
With all of the toys and clothes out there posing as child-appropriate, [Bratz...ahem], it’s refreshing to find items that are really, truly childish.
If there’s one thing that’s really reserved just for little girls, it’s butt ruffles.
Parentrepreneur Amber Schaub created Rufflebutts to bring back the ruffled diaper cover of her own childhood. They’re fun, they’re frilly, and there’s no way you’d ever see a prostitute wearing one. (What does it say about our society that my criteria for appropriate children’s clothing has become so low?)
In addition to the most adorable diaper cover, Amber has designed an entire clothing line of 100% cotton tops, pants & dresses that are all priced under $50 and are all absolutely to-die-for cute. Just looking at the images of the Rufflebutts creations makes me smile. If you’re buying for my daughter, she’ll have this one because I just don’t think it gets any cuter.

I really like the RuffleButt – White because I could have her wear it with any outfit. We use the cloth diapers so we have pretty colored diapers, but a lot of times I don’t want that and not ALL dresses come with something to cover the diaper, especially when they get older. Like they’re supposed to know not to bend over. LOL!! Please enter me. Thanks.

I would love a white one in size 18-24 months. My daughter doesn’t walk yet and bear crawls with her but up in the air. Most of her dresses don’t have diaper covers so this would be fabulous to cover up the unsightly diaper.

That was really hard to choose! I’m going with the bright floral. I love these RuffleButts. When I was a little girl, I wore these but my mom called them fancy pants. I loved my fancy pants but I usually only got to wear them on Sundays.
