Reader Call: Got a calendar?
At TOP, we do our best to review some of the coolest and most family friendly or gadgets, toys, tools, clothing and more. We hope you like what we do, and always welcome your suggestions.
This time, we need you!
We’ve had several reader requests for a great family calendar available online and we’re hoping you can help us find one or more to review and share with our fab readers.
It sounds like you’re looking for one that…
-is large enough to have room for all of the family’s activities, perhaps freezer door sized?
-is not wipe-able but permanent, and has 13 months to record activities and appointments in advance.
-is dateless so families can start and end it as they choose throughout the year.
-can hang on the fridge with either VERY strong magnets or suction hooks.
-optional colour coding for different family members’ activities
Anything else?
Please leave suggestions and ideas in comments.
Any enterprising business person want to make one?

Check out this calendar from Target:

I bought my first one at a store and when I finished with that one, I ordered two more online. It seems to fit your criteria and it has worked out great for me and the family.

I like the one found at http://www.motherword.com. I actually bought it at Wal-Mart, it was in with the school supplies. I love mine. I’ve used it two years in a row.

You could just make one in Word - set the page dimensions to whatever you like, send it to a nearby printer to print it and have them laminate it, add some magnets and taaaa-daa! A low-cost reuseable family clendar!
