Fortune telling for the 21st century
Remember those things that everyone in grade five could fold except you? (Oh wait, was that just me?) You know the ones…I think we called them fortune tellers. I believe I was supposed to marry Shawn Smith and live in a green house with 13 children or something. Whew. I dodged that bullet! As an elementary school child I played fortune teller so often that I can still recall the feeling of muscle strain in my thumbs from opening and closing them for hours on end.
It might be an old fashioned game in that it doesn’t blink or re-charge, but Chicago based Green Rock Entertainment has created Cahootie - fortune tellers with a modern twist.
Each game features 40 re-positionable fortune stickers allowing for kids to create a new game any time and rip-resistant laminated paper. My daughter just recently learned how to make these at school (she is 6) and she absolutely loves making them. I asked her what her favorite one was and she said the TRUTH OR DARE would be the one she’d want if I win…there you have it, straight from a six year old.
