If you love a Clippopotamus…
Are you singing now? Since I wrote that title I’ve been singing “If you love a hippopotamus, and you loooove him alotamus…” constantly.
It’s worth it though, because I’m the proud owner of some great clips from Clippo.ca. Parentrepreneur Alexandria Durrell makes a great assortment of kiddie hair accessories in some super cute styles. Teeny ones (only $2!) are ribbon covered snap clips that are small enough to fit and not look ridiculous on my four month old daughter.
Alexandria also creates some cool Clippo ribbon belts and hair bands. The Clippo ribbon hair band is the first one we’ve found that fits on my head. (It’s not that big – they’re just usually made to fit the kids…) They’re made of ribbon and are adjusted via a plastic toggle so they’ll fit anyone’s melon regardless of the size. (Belts and bands are coming to the site soon – sign up for her e-newsletter to find out when!)

My little girl is now 10 months old and looks exactly like her 2 year old brother. She has gotten mistaken for a boy even when wearing pink. Her hair is fairly short and fine. I have tried a few different clips and they either pulled her hair, flopped over or fell out. I had almost given up until our local retailer got the Teeny Clippo’s in stock. My little girl now wears the Teeny Clippo’s everyday! She has not gotten mistaken for a boy since and seems to have attracted the attention of many!

Clippos are fantastic. I have bought them for my friends little girls in the Teeny and Little ones sizes. I have also bought them for myself in the big ones size and I love them! I have really fine but thick hair and it is so hard to find a clip that will hold it. Clippos do the trick superbly!
If chosen to win, I would like the Big Ones. As the new styles are not yet posted, I can’t name the specific style.

I have a soother clippo, and it’s fantastic. It’s bright and colourful, it holds onto my daughter’s clothes great, and I don’t have to worry about rust. I’ve never had it slip off. In addition, my daughter finds it quite tasty!
I also have some teeny ones waiting for when she has enough hair to put them in! I can’t wait!

Clippos may just be the coolest kid accessories yet! I love the fun, colourful designs, and the fact that they stay in my daughters hair! I am loving the new multicoloured striped little ones, as well as the polka dots and diamonds… oh, and the camo ones too… okay, I love them all!

I love the little ones that are blue with groovy and pink with bubblegum. Love the bright colors. My daughter has VERY curly and thick hair and I am always looking for barettes that will actually stay in place. I can’t wait for the big ones to be posted on the site and to try them all!

Oh I love the neon stripes, blue with groovy flower bows and the yellow with neon stripe bows. I put my 2 year olds hair up in a pony tail all the time and the hair on the sides in the front always fall down. These would be SO great to hold it up. Thanks!

I like the teeny uptown polka dots. I’m getting frustrated with people asking when I’m going to cut my 5 month olds hair, so something to hold it back that STAYS IN would be a Godsend. I have no plans to cut here hair in the near future. These clips may very well save the life of the next person to comment on my daughters hair.

I have two daughters one is 2 yrs old and the other is 3 mths. I have been buying Clippos for them both since I was introduced to them by a friend who gave them to my oldest as part of her birthday gift. I just love them. My oldest picks out which ones she wants to put in her hair everyday. I would not be able to pick which items are my fav. I have teeny ones for my youngest, soother clips for her as well. Then I have little ones for my oldest as well as hairbands for both myself and her. Keep up the good work and keep all these great designs coming as well.

We checked out Clippo and we like: the soother clippos (new baby girl equals more pacifiers and keeping up with them, LOL) the only print I saw was the black/white on DaisyBlue, we also like Bubblerific Hair clips and the teeny ones with bows in print Lotsa blue dots. Adorable! Helana is due in September and I’m sure we will be adorning her in bows!

I love the Red Bandanarama clips! Also the Chocodots are super-cute. I’m already stockpiling barrettes and clips for the day when my 8-month-old daughter finally has enough hair to accessorize.

I am really impressed by Clippopotamus’ products! My favorite is the Clippo Adjustable Hairbands- my 2 girls have completely different hair types, so these would work great for both of them
I really like the Orange and Yellow Flower and Hibiscus Prints.
