My 20 month old is too young to really understand what’s going on at this time of year but he sure does love the beautiful lights, trees and gifts that he’s seeing everywhere and he does seem to know that because he’s a child he needs to be extremely crazy. For that reason and so many more, we are loving the new Celtic Dreamland CD from Putamayo Kids.

I’ve always enjoyed the sound of Celtic tunes and this CD celebrates its’ softer, more tranquil side. While it hasn’t calmed our son’s frenzy on the whole (that was just wishful thinking…) he does love to sit quietly on my knee and listen to it while we read books and at 39 weeks pregnant I’ll take what I can get. Moreover, I love to listen to it alone when I finally relax once he’s asleep, and any CD that works for the whole family comes with a high T.O.P. recommendation!
