Why settle for the ordinary?

Not even the changing table has to be plain anymore.

(ubi - a modern changing table)Mom & mechanical engineer Sue Wong has designed the newest & in our humble opinion (heh) the coolest changing table on the market today. New to the baby market in September, the ubi is not only extremely functional (with the diaper dispenser, fastener strips to hold the diaper in place and super-easy wipe clean fabrics) but it’s absolutely fabulous to look at. So much so that you might just leave it in your living room instead of making the trek to the nursery for changes. (At least until baby starts solid foods anyway. Then you might want to get as far away as possible.) The clean design doesn’t just look good, however. It works. The clean lines make those unfortunate explosions easy to clean up and the height is a perfect mix of floor & table. It’s comfortable for the back (and the post cesarean belly) yet isn’t high enough to cause serious injury if an active baby squirms off onto the floor. It does come with a safety strap that is not shown in any of the online images.

There are two styles, the basic and the deluxe, which retail for $89 and $119 respectively. The ubi comes in your choice of six stunning fabrics and two colours of wood.

The ubi is available online and in select stores starting in September 2007 or from the ubi site directly.
