Bitty Braille
Bitty Braille is a new indie mom-run company that’s found a unique niche in the children’s market and I think you’ll be as impressed as I am.
Julie Dutt, the mom behind the operation, hand embroiders child-friendly words on soft & comfy tees and embellishes above them with the same word in Braille using either iron-on metal studs or Swarovski crystal rhinestones. She’ll even personalize a shirt for your child if you’d like their name or a word that’s meaningful to them.
These American Apparel tees are pre-washed so you can be assured that they won’t shrink and they wash up easily with no extra-special care required. Just wash inside out on gentle & dry on low. In our tests the Braille came through two washes with no sign of wear or weakness. These tees would make a great gift for the older sib (think “Big Brother”) or for any child to whom you’d like to present a fabulous & unique gift. I can pretty much guarantee it will be the only Braille tee at the baby shower!
Enter to win a Bitty Braille tee of your choice! Email theopinionatedparent@gmail.com with Braille in the subject line and the answer to the question “To what organization does Bitty Braille donate 10% of every sale?” Contest closes Friday night at midnight MST. Congratulations to Lara Wellman!
