Jitterbug Theatre Productions is a touring theatre company that travels the Southeast USA performing motivational musicals for elementary schools. Erin Langley and her husband, both former grade 3 teachers (third grade for those of you south of the border), started the company and Erin & a friend write the original musicals.

Their current shows are “Max And The Mountain” and “Kasey Keller Learns To Read!” They offered to send us a copy of their “Max And The Mountain” CD to review and it was great! The songs all have a central theme of working as a team which was way over the head of my one year old (though he still danced like crazy to the tunes!) but was a huge hit with the kindergarten class I shared it with and they were able to pick up the lessons in the music. The songs range from hip hop to swing style and all of the songs are catchy and easy to listen to. I’m sure it would have been even better if they had the opportunity to enjoy the accompanying live show!
