Jackpot!
Jackpot!, one of the newest games from Briarpatch, is a great tool for kids aged 7 and up to develop sequencing & observational skills while they think they’re just playing a fun game. It’s flashy like Vegas, but like all of the Briarpatch games, it’s a developmental learning tool too.
Created for 2-4 players and requiring no reading skills, the Jackpot! board features 9 squares which get covered randomly by 8 fruit tiles leaving 1 space blank. Each player is dealt six cards with a 3 fruit combination on each. The object of the game is to turn over one of your cards and create the pattern in as few moves as possible. Roll the dice to determine how many moves you can make before having to add cards to your hand. Beat the odds and create the pattern in fewer moves and you get to discard cards. The other player(s) must be paying close attention because if they spot a winning combination first, they can call Jackpot! The first player to get rid of all of their cards wins.
We’ve got a Jackpot! game to give away! If you’d like to try to beat the odds, email theopinionatedparent@gmail.com with Jackpot! in the subject line and name one other new Briarpatch product. We’ll do a random draw after midnight MST on 5/18/07. Congratulations Jacqueline!
