It’s the beginning of picnic season, even in Canada. The Essentials Blanket from TOP favourite JJ Cole is pure brilliance. It’s truly perfect for the park, the beach, the soccer games and any other location where you might like to sit on the ground. In fact, it’s one of those items that we like so much it calls for a bulleted list. That’s how you know it’s truly fab.
The outer fabric is durable and slightly padded to protect your tush from sticks and stones, and the inner lining is waterproof and easily wipes clean.
It’s as stylish as a blanket can possibly be when folded, with an ‘over the shoulder’ handle for easy carrying.
It’s compact for easy storage. We leave one in the trunk for the spontaneous picnics we wish we had time for.
Speaking of easy, there’s a stiff folding guide sewn right into the blanket so folding is completely dummy proof.
The carrying strap is detachable, and is fastened with a snap so it can be completely removed or attached to a stroller handle or diaper bag.
No matter how you decide to carry it, it looks good. Mine’s been mistaken for a large (and cute) purse.
