Have you tried crawling lately? Ouch!
I spend many hours every day crawling around after a baby. I didn’t realize how hard it was until I tried it. Not only is it rather exhausting (now I need two naps a day, too!) but it’s extremely hard on the knees.
Mom of two Marina Westerdahl had the same problem but instead of complaining, she did something about it. After considering covering her entire house with foam padding, she instead pulled out her sewing machine and the first pair of Gissy Bella Comfy Crawlers was born.
These pants are pure genius. They’re made of machine washable, soft, comfortable fabrics ~ a must for children’s clothing. They have an adjustable waist that keeps them on my tall, slim little crawler and just the right amount of padding. We’ve actually tried another type of padded pants and the padding was so thick and uncomfortable that he pulled his pants right off, defeating the purpose of trying to protect his knees. Comfy Crawlers have a light layer of padding covering the knees and shins, as well as the back pockets – thick enough to cushion the joint but not so thick that children even notice it.
They’re available in 3 sizes spanning 6-24 months so your child can be protected through the entire crawling stage and well into walking and landing on their knees phase.
Now, if only Marina would make these in mommy sizes…
